Rice Academic Editing provides human language editing of academic manuscripts. All editing is performed personally by Andrew Rice. We do not use AI tools to edit your work. Editing improves language, clarity, and presentation; it does not alter your research findings, data, or scientific conclusions.
Prices shown on the website are estimates based on per-word rates and approximate currency conversions. The final price and turnaround are confirmed in writing before work begins. Turnaround windows start once the manuscript and scope are confirmed.
You pay only after the edit is delivered and you are satisfied with it. You will receive an invoice, due within the period stated at the time of agreement.
The refund guarantee covers language quality only; it does not cover editorial decisions, scope of research, or other reasons for rejection.
We treat your manuscript and related communications as confidential. See our Privacy Policy for details on how your information is handled.
We provide the editing service with reasonable skill and care. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid for the project in question. We are not liable for journal acceptance decisions, which are outside our control.
